Visit Bluehost

I had Bluehost from 2000-2006. I found that they did have decent uptime and customer support was fairly decent on the phone. I also found that many of the PHP scripts that I had purchased online during that time period would not work because Bluehost was overly restrictive with their settings.

However, what really ticked me off with Bluehost and the reason I went to HostGator was a situation in 2006 where someone was spamming using my account. Instead of calling me, emailing me, or warning me, Bluehost simply shut down all my websites without warning! Not cool.

Now, I’m with Hostgator and things are much better.

    I actually have had a good experience with BlueHost. I guess it just depends on the person and the types of sites that they have.
